Tykes: 2.5 - 3 years old

  • Does your child love digging in the dirt, splashing in puddles, and climbing over logs? Then they’re ready for Tykes—a program designed for curious little explorers to play, learn, and connect with nature in a hands-on way.

    Through sensory-rich experiences, nature walks, and seasonal adventures, children begin to see the outdoors as their playground, their classroom, and a space for endless discovery. With access to forests, open fields, a low ropes course, an obstacle course, and our market garden, every day is a new adventure waiting to unfold.

    Tykes will:

    🍂Explore with Their Senses – Feel the textures of nature, listen to birds, and discover the world around them.

    🏃 Move, Play & Climb – Crawl through tunnels, balance on logs, and explore the natural landscape.

    🏕 Build & Create – Construct simple forts and nature-based play spaces using found materials.

    🐞 Discover Plants & Wildlife – Observe insects, birds, and animals while learning about their habitats.

    🎨 Engage in Creative Play & Storytelling – Use natural materials for art, imagination, and group activities.

    🍓 Dig into Gardening & Hands-on Farming – Care for plants, harvest food, and learn where food comes from.

    Through guided discovery, storytelling, and hands-on play, Tykes build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and cultivate a lifelong love for the outdoors.

  • Our Forest and Nature School programs run Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with the option of extended care from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

    Tykes can attend one to five days per week, based on their chosen schedule. Enrolment is for specific scheduled days, running September through June.

    Mid-season sign-ups are possible if spots are available.

  • This weekly program is designed for Tykes to attend each week on their scheduled day(s) from September - June.

    Pricing Options:

    $72 per day per child: when signing up for 1-4 days per week

    $65 per day per child: when signing up for 5 days per week

Kinder: ages 4 - 5 years old

  • As confidence and curiosity soar, so do the adventures! Our Kinders program is all about deeper exploration, bigger challenges, and hands-on nature-based learning that nurtures independence and resilience. Children step into new experiences with growing confidence, tackling obstacles, solving problems creatively, and embracing the wonders of the outdoors.

    With access to forests, open fields, climbing challenges, and interactive learning spaces, every week brings exciting discoveries and new skills.

    Kinders will:

    ⚖️ Assess Risks & Solve Problems – Navigate challenges with growing confidence while learning to make safe, informed decisions.

    🎯 Tackle Obstacle Courses & Low Ropes Elements – Build strength, coordination, and agility through movement-based challenges.

    🐾 Track Wildlife & Explore the Seasons – Observe animal tracks, listen for bird calls, and notice how the natural world changes over time.

    🌱 Dig into Gardening & Sustainability – Plant, harvest, and uncover the connections between soil, plants, and ecosystems.

    🏕 Build Shelters & Forts – Create more advanced natural structures, working together to problem-solve and design sturdy outdoor hideaways.

    🤝 Play Games & Step into Leadership – Strengthen teamwork, communication, and decision-making through dynamic outdoor activities.

    🎨 Express Creativity & Tell Stories – Use nature as inspiration for journaling, storytelling, and artistic expression.

    Outdoors Club members will:

    🌱 Grow & Harvest – Get hands-on experience in our market garden, tend plants, and harvest fresh food while learning sustainable farming practices.

    🐾 Track Wildlife & Observe Nature – Follow animal tracks, listen for bird calls, and explore the ever-changing landscape of the wild.

    🏕 Build & Create in the Wild – Construct forts, shelters, and natural structures.

    🎯 Play, Move & Challenge Themselves – Run, climb, balance, and engage in thrilling outdoor games that build strength, agility, and teamwork.

    🍃 Discover the World of Plants & Animals – Identify flowers, trees, insects, and creatures, learning how they interact within the ecosystem.

    🎨 Express Creativity in Nature – Tell stories, create nature-based art, and explore the outdoors through imaginative play.

    🔥 Learn Fireside Skills & Outdoor Cooking – Learn how to safely build and tend fires, cook simple meals, and embrace the magic of campfire learning.

    In Outdoors Club, learning is powered by nature—seamlessly weaving science, engineering, math, literacy, and social-emotional skills into each adventure. Through hands-on discovery and child-led exploration, kids gain confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to the world around them.

    Outdoors Club meets once a week on Wednesdays, offering an immersive, full-day Forest & Nature School experience. Each session is thoughtfully designed to follow the rhythm of the seasons.

    A Typical Day at Outdoors Club:

    Ease into the day with a relaxed arrival, unstructured exploration, and time to connect with friends.

    ☀️ 9:00 AM | Morning Circle
    Gather as a community, set intentions, and spark curiosity with a nature-inspired prompt or story.

    🌲 9:30 AM | Adventure & Exploration
    Follow the lead of the land and the seasons—hike trails, track wildlife, build shelters, or engage in hands-on nature challenges.

    🏕 11:00 AM | Outdoor Skill-Building & Play
    Develop essential outdoor skills like fire-building, gardening, and orienteering. Engage in cooperative games and movement-based activities.

    🍎 12:30 PM | Lunch & Fireside Gathering
    Enjoy a packed lunch in the fresh air, with opportunities for storytelling, mindfulness, and reflection.

    🎨 1:00 PM | Creative & Environmental Projects
    Engage in nature-inspired art, foraging, tool use, team-building challenges, or STEM-based experiments in the great outdoors.

    🌿 2:30 - 3:30 PM | Community & Choice Time
    A time for deeper exploration—whether it’s working on a long-term nature project, joining a group challenge, tending the garden, or simply following curiosity. This flexible period allows children to engage in activities that spark their passion.

Forest and Nature School Meet Up: 3.8 - 8 years old

  • Designed for homeschooled students and those in community-based schools, Monday Monthly Meet-Ups offer a full-day immersive Forest & Nature School experience. Once a month, young adventurers (ages 3.8-8) come together to explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors—building new skills while forming friendships that grow with the seasons.

    With access to our forest trails, open fields, low ropes course, obstacle course, and vibrant market garden, each meet-up is a unique blend of discovery, hands-on learning, and child-led adventure.

    🌳 Each month, Meet-Up kids will:

    🌱 Dig, Grow & Harvest – Get their hands in the soil, care for plants, and experience growing food in our market garden.

    🐾 Explore & Observe – Track animal signs, listen to the sounds of the wild, and discover the seasonal changes in nature.

    🏕 Build & Create in the Woods – Construct forts, shelters, and nature-inspired projects using found materials.

    🎯 Play, Move & Challenge Themselves – Climb, balance, run, and engage in outdoor games that strengthen both bodies and minds.

    🍃 Discover Plants & Wildlife – Identify trees, flowers, bugs, and birds while learning how they interact in their natural habitat.

    🎨 Express Creativity in Nature – Paint with mud, weave with leaves, and tell stories under the open sky.

    🔥 Gather Around the Fire – Learn about fire safety, practice fire-building skills, and enjoy fireside moments with stories and simple outdoor cooking.

    Each monthly meet-up weaves science, engineering, math, literacy, and social-emotional learning into hands-on outdoor experiences. Through exploration, teamwork, and play, kids build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong connection to nature.

  • Meet Up Monthly on Monday’s!

    Designed for young adventurers, our once-a-month on Monday’s Forest & Nature School Meet-Up provides a full day outdoor learning, fostering confidence, curiosity, and hands-on skill development. Each session builds on the last, helping children deepen their connection of the world around them.

    A Typical Meet-Up Day:

    Engage in active nature-based games, obstacle courses, and climbing challenges that build strength, coordination, and teamwork.

    🍎 12:30 PM | Lunch & Fireside Gathering
    Enjoy a packed lunch in the fresh air, followed by storytelling, mindfulness activities, and fireside learning when applicable.

    🎨 1:00 PM | Creative & Environmental Projects
    Connect with the natural world through art, music, sensory exploration, or nature-based STEM challenges.

    🌿 2:30 - 3:30 PM | Child-Led Exploration & Reflection
    A time for deeper engagement—children can revisit the day’s skill, explore their interests, or participate in a group nature-based challenge.
