π€ Be a Trusted Guide: Act as the primary support person for an assigned group of campers each week, fostering strong, trusting relationships.
π Create Inclusivity: Facilitate group bonding and ensure a safe, inclusive environment where campers feel supported and encouraged.
Engagement and Participation
π Lead by Example: Actively participate in and assist with all camp activities, modeling enthusiasm and engagement.
𧑠Provide Support: Offer individualized guidance to campers, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence, and enjoy their camp experience to the fullest.
Camper Safety
πΈ Prioritize Safety: Maintain awareness of group dynamics and promptly address any issues to ensure a secure environment for all.

Meal Planning and Preparation
π³ Create Nutritious Meals: Plan, prepare, and serve appealing daily meals, accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies as needed.
π₯ Promote Healthy Eating: Collaborate with campers during cooking activities, teaching basic cooking skills and fostering a love of healthy eating.
Special Events
πΏ Field to Fork Dinner: Organize and manage this special event, incorporating freshly harvested produce from the camp garden and involving campers in the preparation process.
Certification and Safety
π§Ύ Food Safety Certification: Possess or be willing to obtain Food Handler Certification for Canada (cost reimbursed by Elements Outdoors upon completion and proof of certification).
π§Ό Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always met.

Clean-Up and Maintenance
𧽠Keep it Tidy: Take charge of clean-up tasks, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining an organized kitchen.
Event Assistance
π² Field to Fork Dinner: Help organize and execute this special event under the direction of the Camp Cook, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

Outdoor Maintenance
π³ Keep Spaces Ready: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all outdoor areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and prepared for camp activities.
π± Garden Care: Supervise and assist with gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and maintaining the camp garden.
Team Coordination
π· Lead the Grounds Team: Coordinate and delegate tasks to the Groundskeeper, ensuring efficient completion of daily responsibilities.
Safety Checks
π Inspect and Address: Conduct regular safety checks of trails, playgrounds, and outdoor equipment, promptly addressing any hazards or concerns.
Program Collaboration
π€ Align with Programs: Work closely with the Camp Coordinator to ensure outdoor spaces meet program needs and expectations.

Outdoor Maintenance
π§Ή Keep Spaces Clean: Work under the supervision of the Groundskeeper Supervisor to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all outdoor areas.
ποΈ Manage Waste: Handle daily garbage and recycling collection, along with outhouse cleaning and restocking.
Camper Support
π° Water Station Care: Ensure all drinking water stations are filled, functional, and accessible for campers and staff.
Trail Maintenance
π² Clear and Safe Trails: Maintain hiking trails by clearing debris and addressing hazards to ensure safe use for everyone.
Safety Monitoring
π Report Issues: Identify and report any safety concerns or maintenance needs to the Groundskeeper Supervisor for resolution.
